Pricing depends on several factors such as individual passenger needs, ambulatory or wheelchair, one-way or round trip, etc. If you submit a ride request we will get back to you promptly with an exact ride cost.

At this time, we do not accept Medicaid, Medicare, or Private Insurance. We currently accept credit, debit, apply pay, google pay, etc. We do encourage you to check with your insurance provider to see if they can reimburse some or all of your medical transportation.

No, we are not a broker, although there may be brokers with similar names. We provide transportation directly for passengers needing rides to/from medical appointments in the Northern Virginia area.

MediRide provides Non-Emergency Medical Transportation for Ambulatory or Wheelchair/Mobility-Assist Passengers:
Ambulatory: Passenger is mobile and can walk on and off without the van’s mobility lift
Wheelchair/Mobility-Assist: Passenger is in a wheelchair or has limited mobility and needs the lift to enter/exit the van

Yes, absolutely. We will guide you from your home, into the van, and inside the medical facility.

Please schedule your ride with us as soon as your appointment date/time is confirmed. If it is a last minute request we will do our best to accommodate based on our driver and vehicle availability.

We serve the state of Virginia, primarily Fairfax County, Loudoun County, Arlington County, Prince William County, and the cities within those areas. If you need transportation outside of these areas let us know and we can likely accommodate you!

We know plans change! Here's how it works:
7+ days before pickup: Cancel for free - full refund.
24 hours to 7 days before pickup: 50% refund.
Less than 24 hours before pickup: No refund.
No-shows: If you're not at the pickup location within 15 minutes of your scheduled time and haven't let us know, no refund will be issued.
Need to reschedule instead? Just reach out as soon as you can - changes made 7+ days out are free, and anything closer to your pickup time may be subject to our cancellation policy.

Not at this time - we currently only offer ambulatory and wheelchair passenger transportation.

Yes. If you are an ambulatory passenger - there is one extra seat available for a family member/caregiver. If you are in a wheelchair - there are two extra seats available for family members/caregivers.

We understand delays can happen - let us know as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate. Additional wait-time fees may be applied after the set grace period.
